Dr. Tamer Özalp Discusses NASA’s Perseverance Mars Mission and Türkiye’s Space Activities

Our company’s Founder, Dr. Tamer Özalp, was invited by Atilla Güner as a guest on the Türkiye Gündemi – Akşam Postası radio programme. During the programme, he shared his views on NASA’s Mars mission and Türkiye’s space activities.

The programme discussed NASA’s Perseverance rover, which successfully landed on Mars on 18 February 2021, and the objectives of Mars exploration. Özalp also discussed the development of Türkiye’s space activities, responding to questions particularly about space activities between 2005 and 2011, Türkiye’s first official National Space Programme, and the National Space Programme announced later.

The interview also addressed Türkiye’s development of its space capabilities over the years, the evolution of its national space activities, and perspectives on the country’s future space activities.
